DANNY MASTERSON AND BIJOU PHILLIPS MARRY: Danny Masterson and Bijou Phillips got married on Tuesday (October 18th) after eight years together. The longtime couple tied the knot in front of a small group of family and friends at a private castle in Ireland. The groom's brother Chris Masterson served as best man and guests included actors Ben Foster, Mike Pena and Ethan Supleeand artist Gottfried Helnwein.
'BIGGEST LOSER' SAM OUT OF HOSPITAL: The Biggest Loser's Sam Poueu is slowly recovering from his near-fatal fall last month. EOnline.com reported that the reality star in now in a rehabilitation facility after having been released from the hospital. His family released a statement saying, "He is undergoing an intense rehabilitation schedule. His recovery has been nothing short of a miracle. He has been blessed with a wonderful medical team. Witnessing his daily progress is the most hopeful and inspirational experience. Tough days are still ahead -- but, like always, he is working hard toward a full recovery. We are thankful for your continued thoughts, prayers and support."
NEW MAN FOR SCARJO? Scarlett Johansson's latest rumored boyfriend is Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Us Weekly reported that the two were spotted on a date together -- but his rep says it never happened. A spokesperson for the actor said, "Joseph wasn't even in NYC the night that US Weekly is reporting they were spotted together."
LINDA CARDELLINI IS PREGNANT: Linda Cardellini, best known for her roles on Freaks and Geeks and in the Scooby-Doo movies, is pregnant. The actress announced that she and boyfriend Steven Rodriguez will welcome their first child early next year. Cardellini is currently promoting her new film, Return, in which she stars alongside Michael Shannon.
KELSEY GRAMMER REPORTEDLY PRODUCING SITCOM ABOUT A CRAZY EX-WIFE: Kelsey Grammer might be turning his life into art. HuffingtonPost.com reported that the actor is producing a new sitcom called Generations about a man married to a much younger woman -- who has a crazy ex-wife. His real life divorce drama with Camille Grammerhas been public fodder for the past year.
ANNE HATHAWAY JOINS 'LES MIS': Anne Hathaway will star opposite Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe in the upcoming movie version of Les Miserables. E! News confirmed that the actress won the part of Fantine over fellow stars like Amy Adams and Rebecca Hall. Jackman will be playing Jean Valjean in the adaptation, while Crowe takes on the role of Inspector Javert. The film is due to be released in December of 2012.
TBS ORDERS CONAN COMEDY: TBS has ordered a pilot from Conan O'Brien. THR.com reported that Conan's late night home is investing in Fat Chance, a multi-camera comedy "that follows what happens to two best friends -- the overweight Chance Hubbard and the incredibly good-looking Rollie -- when a beautiful girl named Alex enters their lives."
JOHN CUSACK TEAMING WITH JOHNNY KNOXVILLE: John Cusack and Johnny Knoxville are teaming up for a new comedy called Carnaval. THR.com reported that "Cusack will play a sports scout sent to Rio de Janeiro during the over-the-top bacchanalia of Carnaval to recruit the world's best soccer player with the promise that if he signs the star, he will inherit the agency. Knoxville plays his best friend, a musician who tags along and has an affair with a woman who turns out to be the player's girlfriend, derailing the signing mission." The movie will start filming in Rio this January.
LINDSAY LOHAN'S PROBATION REVOKED Lindsay Lohan'sprobation was revoked on Wednesday (October 19th) after the judge determined that she had no excuse for repeatedly blowing off her community service obligations. Lindsay was handcuffed and briefly held in custody until she paid $100,000 bail.
Judge Stephanie Sautner dismissed Lindsay's argument that work commitments were to blame for her absences. The judge also expressed her displeasure at Lindsay having been reassigned to do community service at the Red Cross without her permission.
Sautner said of the situation, ["Probation, as you know, and as the prosecutor knows and has always been view, is a gift. And there's something called looking a gift horse in the mouth. And when I see that she has by her own conduct and against my orders to do four-hour increments, blown them off nine times so that they had no alternative but to cancel. And then she trots herself over the Red Cross with the blessing of the volunteer center? That is not my sentence."] (:28 OC: . . . not my sentence)
Although Lindsay received a "glowing" recommendation from her psychiatrist, Sautner disputed the shrink's claim that Lohan was present for in-person sessions every week.
- Sautner finally laid down the law: ["The court is revoking probation. I am setting a probation violation hearing for November 2nd at 10 am in this court. I am also setting bail at $100,000. CRYSTAL HARRIS SELLS HEF ENGAGEMENT RING: TMZ.com reported that Hef's runaway bride Crystal Harrissold her engagement ring -- originally priced at $90,000 -- for $38,000. Sources told the website that the winning bidder will pay a total of $47,500 for the 3.39 carat bling, when fees and taxes are included.
SCARLETT JOHANSSON TOO SEXY FOR 'DRAGON TATTOO': Scarlett Johansson lost the part of Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo because she is too sexy. In the book that the movie is based on, Salander is described as "a pale, anorexic young woman who had hair as short as a fuse, and a pierced nose and eyebrows." The film's director David Fincher said of the part, "We flew in people from New Zealand and Swaziland and all over the place. Look, we saw some amazing people. Scarlett Johansson was great. It was a great audition, I'm telling you." As for why she didn't get cast? "The thing with Scarlett is, you can't wait for her to take her clothes off."
LAUREN AND DEREK SPOTTED KISSING: Lauren Conrad and Derek Hough seemed to confirm that they're more than just friends during a night out in Los Angeles earlier this week. People magazine reported that the rumored couple was partying with friends at L.A.'s Trousdale Lounge, where they danced together -- and kissed in front of onlookers. A source told the magazine, "It was obvious there was a lot of chemistry between the two. She was very smitten. Neither seemed embarrassed about kissing in public."
KATE TALKS ORLANDO SPLIT: Kate Bosworth is opening up about her relationship with Orlando Bloom, telling England's Sunday Times Style that their 2006 breakup was painful. She said, "You know when you put all your chips into something, then it disappears? [The break-up] sent me into such pain, I think I had actual vertigo. I was like, 'Is this my new reality? Will anything be normal again?' Then one day. You wake up and you think, OK, I'll never be the same, but I'll survive and I'll grow from it."
KELLAN LUTZ REVEALS 16-EGG DIET: Kellan Lutz bulked up to 220 pounds for his role in Immortals by eating 16 eggs for breakfast every morning. The actor discussed his intense eating plan with Men's Fitness magazine, explaining, "I ate 16 eggs every morning. I got up to 220 pounds of solid muscle. We'd work out every day. Shooting one scene could take all day -- and when that's just driving a Humvee at five miles an hour, we had energy to burn." He added, "We were doing push-ups on top of the Humvees. We were throwing wheels and rocks. We were timing each other, betting who can do the most push-ups, just to keep our sanity."
KRISTEN STEWART INJURY REPORTEDLY SHUTS DOWN 'SNOW WHITE' PRODUCTION: Kristen Stewart was reportedly injured Tuesday on the set of Snow White and the Huntsman. One of the actors in the film, Max Manganello,tweeted, "It's a wrap for today. Kristen has hurt herself...nothing scary. We shoot on friday." There were no further details available regarding the injury.
'MODERN FAMILY' GETS BIG DVR BUMP: Modern Family is a hit -- especially on DVR. Nielson reported that the Emmy-winning show is the most-watched comedy on digital video recorders, with an average of 4.5 million viewers watching the show after it first appeared on air during the first two weeks of the season. That lifted the show's viewership from nearly 14 million people who watched it live to 18.5 million. Two and a Half Men, Grey's Anatomy and Terra Nova are other shows that have been receiving a significant bump from DVR.
CHORD OVERSTREET BACK ON 'GLEE': Chord Overstreet is reportedly returning to Glee. PerezHilton.com reported that the actor, who left the show to pursue other projects, is in final talks with Ryan Murphy to reprise his role as Sam Evans. If it goes through, he'll reportedly return for episode eight of the current season.
BRAD PITT BOOSTS TOURISM: Brad Pitt is apparently boosting the tourism in Glasgow, Scotland where he filmed scenes for World War Z back in August. The Daily Mail reported that since Pitt has been in town, Glasgow has filled more hotel rooms than Scotland's capitol, Edinburgh. The discount hotel booking website LateRooms.com noted that Glasgow was seeing a surge in room reservations in advance of Pitt's arrival.
BAR REFAELI LANDS REALITY SHOW: Leonardo DiCaprio's ex-girlfriend, supermodel Bar Refaeli will star in a new modeling reality series. The New York Post reported that Bar is teaming with talent company One Management for the show, Scouted, which is set to premiere on E! next month. She will serve as an adviser to the contestants.
Halle Berry has won again in her custody battle against her ex Gabriel Aubry. According to TMZ.com, a judge has denied Gabriel's request to not have a nanny around while he's with their daughter, three-year-old Nahla.
As previously reported, Gabriel was trying to amend his visitation rights -- claiming that he wanted more alone time with his daughter. Halle opposed the change. The judge issued an order upholding the original agreement which requires supervised visitation on Gabriel's part.
- Sources told the site that Gabriel is "p*ssed" and feels that the nanny is ruining his relationship with his daughter.
A crazy rumor is spreading around the internet, which if true, would take the Ashton Kutcher-Demi Moore marital problems to a whole new level. A blind item has been catching steam on the web, which suggests that Ashton could be the father of January Jones'snew son, Xander.
According to the item: "This married actor had a one-night stand with one of his exes, who is an actress in an acclaimed television show. She wound up pregnant. The actor's wife found out about the baby, and, to no one's surprise, went completely ballistic."
- January and Ashton dated for several years when she was working as a model and attempting to break into Hollywood. She has been notoriously quiet about the identity of Xander's father, even refusing to name him on the birth certificate.
SKINNY DEMI WEARS WEDDING RING ON RED CARPET
Meanwhile, Demi Moore walked the red carpet solo on Monday night at the premiere of her new movie Margin Call -- however she was sporting her wedding ring.
The wedding ring wasn't the only aspect of the actress's appearance that caused buzz. Spectators gaped at how skinny the 48-year-old actress appears to have become. One source told Usmagazine.com, "Everyone was remarking how thin Demi was, more so than usual. She seemed in a decent mood though, even a little happy to be there."
- Another insider said, "She's very upset, and hasn't been eating," adding that Ashton's rumored infidelity and the state of their marriage is "taking a toll."
- CARSON KRESSLEY ELIMINATED FROM 'DWTS'
Fashion guru Carson Kressley is the latest contestant knocked out of Dancing With The Stars. The former Queer Eye For The Straight Guystar received the lowest score for his 80s themed dance from the judges on Monday night. Wearing a cheerleader outfit, Kressley thanked everyone after being eliminated. "This has been pure joy for me," he said. "I hope I can just make people smile and laugh and have a good time."
The final seven contestants remaining are actors David Arquette and J.R. Martinez, soccer star Hope Solo, reality star Rob Kardashian, activist Chaz Bono and TV hosts Ricki Lake and Nancy Grace.

Real Steel just edged out the debut of the 1980s film remake Footloose to hold on to the top spot at the box office for the second weekend in a row. But the studio estimates for the movies are so close, $16.3 million for Real Steel to $16.1 million for Footloose, that they could switch rankings once the final numbers are released today (October 17th).
Footloose stars Kenny Wormald in the role originally played by Kevin Bacon as the teen who moves to a Midwestern town and challenges its ban on dancing, which has been imposed because of a local pastor, played by Dennis Quaid. Also starring are Julianne Hough, Andie McDowell and Miles Teller.
Opening in third place was the horror movie The Thing, about Antarctic researchers dealing with a shape-shifting alien. Starring are Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Egerton and Eric Christian Olsen. Bombing with a ninth-place opening was the comedy The Big Year, starring Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson as bird-watching buddies. Brian Dennehy and Angelica Huston co-star.

CELEBRITY GOSSIP SHANNEN DOHERTY TIES THE KNOT: Shannen Doherty is a married woman -- again. The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star tied the knot for the third time on Saturday (October 15th) -- this time to Kurt Iswarienko. People magazine reported that the black-tie affair will air as the season finale of the couple's upcoming WEtv reality series about planning for their wedding. Doherty was previously married to Ashley Hamilton and Rick Salomon.
NIKKI REED AND PAUL MCDONALD MARRY: Twilight star Nikki Reed and American Idol contestant Paul McDonald got married on Sunday (October 16th) in Malibu, CA. The couple started dating in March after meeting at the Red Riding Hood premiere in L.A., and got engaged in June.
CATHERINE BELL AND HUSBAND SPLIT: Catherine Bell and her husband Adam Beason have separated after 17 years of marriage. The pair have two children together, 8-year-old daughter Gemma, and 1-year-old son Ronan. A rep for the actress told People.com, "They remain great friends. They're committed to raising their two children together." They will continue to work as partners in their production company, DaVinci Films.
LARRY HAGMAN HAS CANCER: Larry Hagman is battling cancer. The 80-year-old actor, best known for playing J.R. Ewing on Dallas, released a statement about his diagnosis, saying, "As J.R. I could get away with anything -- bribery, blackmail and adultery. But I got caught by cancer. I do want everyone to know that it is a very common and treatable form of cancer." Despite his health woes, Hagman said he will still participate in TNT's reboot of Dallas, which begins filming this week. He added, "I will be receiving treatment while working on the new Dallas series. I could not think of a better place to be than working on a show I love, with people I love. Besides, as we all know, you can't keep J.R. down!"
SEAN PENN TALKS 'OCCUPY WALL STREET': Sean Penn is the latest celebrity to get involved in the Occupy Wall Street protests. The actor talked about the rally on Piers Morgan Tonight, saying, "It resonates a great deal and in many ways. I applaud the spirit of what's happening now on Wall Street. I hope that increased organization can come to it. It's been a long time coming. And I'd like to see the President go and interact with the protesters in New York, in particular, and for this to become not just a protest dialog, but a home to home dialog."
